Literature Text

Whispers of wind whistle soft in my ear,
wicked waves wash upon the cold white shore
and now I find that I can wait no more,
for you have come not to dissuade my fear.

Alone along the sands of time, they leer
at me; I stand upon the wings of lore,
the storm will chill me to the darkened core;
I know it was you that brought me to here.

Storming, blowing upon red and white sand,
I shall loose my life to the storm above,
into its harsh winds my weak soul shall flee,
rising up and away from this cruel land;
you would forsake me too, my own sweet love.
Forget who it was that I was to be.
I don't know. Italian Sonnet. Dunno. Odd little thing.

the imagery is lovely - and the wording is done very well, i like the breaks particularly :)
