The Bell That Tolls

In the silence, a bell tolls for me
and no one on earth can hear.
In the darkness, I have ceased to be
and all I can do is fear.

I am so very afraid
of this deal that was made.
For life I would gladly trade
the cold tomb where I am laid.

What waits for me after this?
I will just cease to exist.
I'll lay shrouded in the mist.
Death hath given me his kiss.
